Why this List?

Mastodon is the world’s largest free, open source, decentralized microblogging platform. This list contains all those really good tools and services related to Mastodon. It serves as a starting point to help you find orientation and get traction when it comes to Mastodon and the Fediverse.

Getting started

Find followers

  • Mastodon starter packs: Get follow recommendations and follow people directly via public lists and community starter packs
  • Whom to Follow: Find accounts you’ll love by searching the network of accounts you already follow.
  • Streetpass: StreetPass will build a list of Mastodon users made up of the websites you go to.
  • Followgraph: This tool allows you to expand your connection graph and find new people to follow. It works by looking up your “follows’ follows”.
  • Trunk categories to csv: This tool uses Trunk to generate a csv file that can be used on Mastodonto follow all the accounts from categories you choose.
  • Fedi.directory: Interesting accounts to follow on Mastodon and the Fediverse.
  • Fediverse.info: Discover people who have mutual interests
